How to Play Bite By Night

Bite By Night is a 1v4 asymmetrical horror game on Roblox where one player becomes the Killer and the rest play as Survivors. Here's everything you need to know to survive.

Match Start

Basics

At the start of a round, one player is chosen as the Killer and everyone else becomes a Survivor. If you are the Killer, your job is to eliminate every survivor before the timer reaches 6:00 AM.

Survivors choose a class before the round begins. The launch class pool includes Customer, Fighter, Healer, and Security Guard. Each class changes how you help the team and evade the threat.

Survivor Objectives

Puzzles

Survivors must complete map objectives and power generators to open the exit. Common objectives like Electric Wiring require players to hold the interaction key while fixing wires.

  • Only one player can work an objective at a time.
  • Use the buddy system: While one repairs, the other watches for the killer.
  • Barricade doors to buy time (any class can do this by pressing 'F').

🏃 Stamina & Chases

Both Survivors and Killers use Stamina to sprint, jump, and use abilities. Exhausting your stamina will slow you down and leave you vulnerable.

  • Only sprint when necessary! If you waste it before a chase, the killer will catch you easily.
  • Listen for audio cues. Footsteps, heavy breathing, and mechanical hums give away player positions.
  • Use environmental objects to loop the killer and break line of sight.

☠️ 5:00 AM Rush

As the timer approaches 6:00 AM, the killer often becomes more aggressive to stop the final escape effort.

  • Once the generators are done, stop taking risks and move directly to the exit gates.
  • If playing Fighter or Security Guard, save your stun (Axe Parry or Taser) to secure the final door push.
  • Don't clump together in a panic – if Ennard or Mimic catches a group, they can wipe multiple players fast.
